The Carvin' Shed

Any creative person knows how important space to work is to their craft. I had a carving studio in my home, moved it into my restaurant for 7 years, and then, when I closed the cafe, moved into a tiny corner of my house. This month, I discovered a little building being sold about a half hour from me and for relocation. It arrived last week, on a flat bed, and the transformation has begun.
The peace and sense of well-being I have when in that small space, surrounded by my tools, my work, my music, and wood, is on-par with meditation or prayer for me. To have this space is the biggest gift and hopefully that will reflect in my work.
