Pin up mermaid!

In spite of carving Santa EVERY DAY ( a commitment I have made to have plenty by Fall), sometimes a girl needs to take a break from the bearded fellows. 

This fishy lady is posing a lot like the pin up girls of days gone by. I still can't make beautiful female faces though. It's so much harder than it should be for some reason. Practice makes perfect they say so I shall just keep trying. 

Meanwhile, there are fuzzy-faced fishers and Santas to whittle.
