Native Wood Spirit carving

One of the most wonderful parts of my job is to make someone happy with a commissioned piece. This was a native wood spirit piece from a wife to her husband on their 20th anniversary. She was so happy with it and reported back to me that he is thrilled. This fellow is carved in a hunk of basswood that fell years ago in Hurricane Juan. Another piece that was delivered to me as a gift and turned into a gift for another.
